about our services
Our organizational development work is focused on building more equitable organizational practices, which includes customized solutions to common organizational challenges of equity, power and intersectional identity. Our approach goes beyond traditional DEI initiatives to integrate equity into the organizational structure.
We help organizations to build their internal capacity through leadership development, curriculum development, designing employee equity groups, facilitating equity conversations across organizations, and enhancing organizational policies and procedures. Our equity development work includes robust organizational assessments to identify key strengths and needs, multi-level engagements to build buy-in across organizational silos, and research-informed long- and short-term equity recommendations.
In addition to tailored organizational development projects, we also provide high-impact trainings that we have developed and refined over the past decade. Our trainings and workshops are grounded in structural, intersectional, and trauma-informed approaches to social justice work.
We address many areas of equity and justice, however, our trainings center racial equity from an intersectional framework. They are designed to help participants strengthen their relationships with each other, develop a shared framework for practice, and increase their ability to hold difficult conversations.
Our workshops are designed to engage diverse groups of many different learning styles and education levels. We center dialogue, interactive and experiential exercise, reflection, and applied learning in our practice of liberatory education. As approved continuing education providers in New York State, we are also able to provide CE credits to licensed social workers in our clinical trainings.
We have collaborated with a broad range of organizations, including universities, government agencies, criminal justice organizations, and social service nonprofits (see more of our past collaborators here). We specialize in the unique dynamics of trauma-informed anti-oppressive work in clinical settings.
